The Bike Palatine Club is a non-profit organization with a mission to make our community more bicycle-friendly.

WELCOME to 2021!!

We are going to resume the casual rides this year.  During the month of MAY we will be riding on Thursdays only from the Palatine Public Library who is hosting an exhibit in honor of National Bike month.  Please make sure you have a mask with you when you arrive for safety, helmets are mandatory.  Please arrive by 6:15, leaving promptly at 6:30 for a 7-10 mile leisurely ride through the northeast section of Palatine.  Each week, as is the ride leader's option, will offer a different route through neighborhoods and Deer Grove Forest Preserve.

In the month of June we will transition to the normal Tuesday/Thursday rides.  Tuesdays we will be leaving from Birchwood Park and Thursdays we are leaving from Mikes Bike Shop.  Please arrive by 6:15 for all rides, leaving promptly at 6:30 for a 7-10 mile leisurely ride through various neighborhoods in and around Palatine.  Again, no two rides will be the same route.  See how easy it is to get around Palatine by bike.  Family friendly but any rider under 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult.  Please, no training wheel riders.  Please make sure you have a mask with you when you arrive for safety, helmets are mandatory.

There will be a 'late' National Bike Month - ABC, air brakes and chain, checkout at the Palatine Public Library on Saturday June 12 from 1-2PM at the bike racks.  Bring your bike by for a quick safety check and learn how to do it yourself.

We're glad you dropped by. Plain and simple, the Bike Palatine Club's primary goal is to get more people on their bikes more often. We especially welcome those who haven't ridden in a number of years and wish to get back out on two wheels.

Our rides range from 8 mph to over 16 mph. Ride distances typically range from 5 to 30 miles. You will find riders at your experience level with similar interests. On all club rides we stick together, staying with anyone having physical or mechanical difficulties

Your $15 Annual Family Membership is valid for one year from your signing up and offers many benefits!

Club Member meetings are
